NEEDS – North East Essex Diabetes Service
The purpose of the group is to provide a single place for people living with diabetes to meet and learn more about the condition. At the meetings, members hear updates about NEEDS, share new ideas and listen to interesting speakers on diabetes.

LEAP Exercise Referral Scheme
The Life Enhancing Activity Programme – LEAP – is a scheme for Health Professionals to refer patients to Leisure World Colchester for an activity programme designed specifically for people with health issues.
Patients are also able to self-refer to the scheme for certain conditions.

NEEDS Young People
In North East Essex there are around 450 people living with diabetes under the age of 30 and the majority of these young people have their care provided by the North East Essex Diabetes Service (NEEDS).
